Award-winning Adrian O'Herlihy
is a highly successful executive chef with extensive multinational experience possesses a strong customer service ethos and is known for his dedication and keen eye for detail. He received his professional training at the renowned Dublin College of Catering, Cathal Brugha Street, in Dublin, Ireland. His career has brought him around the globe including a 13-year stint in New York. Apart from the USA, Adrian has worked in the UK, Ireland, Germany, Saudi Arabia, Thailand, China, and Japan. He is currently the Executive Chef at Dusit Thani Pattaya in Pattaya, Thailand. He left his native Ireland to embark on a culinary trip at the age of 21 and has never looked back; he has cooked for Royalty, Presidents, Heads of State, International Diplomats, Celebrities and has received personal commendations from many including Her Majesty Queen Sirikit and HSH Prince Bisadej of Thailand. He was also given the Purachatra Pin from HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn of Thailand.
In 1998 he competed in 4 food exhibitions, entering 11 live-theatre cooking events and won 8 awards. He is also an experienced international competition judge.
Adrian hails from Tallow, Co. Waterford, Ireland. He is a keen golfer and participates regularly in tournaments around South East Asia. His affiliations and memberships include the HCIMA, The Craft Guild of Chefs, Euro-Toques, The Hong Kong Chefs Association and the Panel of Chefs of Ireland.
